Hello,

I saw this topic https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1051503/jetson-nano/make-usb-wifi-dongle-rtl8812au-works-on-nano/ so I decided to try my COMFAST 1200Mbps USB Wireless Adapter(Model: CF-912AC) which is said to be compatible for the Jetson Nano on my Jetson AGX Xavier.

Before installing the driver

COMFAST CF-912AC 1200Mbps WiFi USB Adapter Dual band 2.4G/5.8G Wi fi Antenna Wifi Dongle Wireless Router wi-fi Network Card - buy at a price from 12.29 USD. Choose from 3 great deals from online stores. Compare prices, specifications, photos and reviews from buyers. I successfully built the rtl8814au driver for use with the Comfast CF-917AC USB WiFi adapter on Debian Stretch (Kernel: 4.9.0-3-amd64) from this source with the following command: make RTL8814=1 Incidentally, that driver is purported to support monitor mode and frame injection as mentioned here. While I realize this doesn't exactly answer your question, at least it's a relevant response to.

The usb dongle was not managed by the network manager.

After installing the drivers

I am able to see Wifi networks however I can’t connect to any of them. Whenever I try to connect to a network It acts as if the password entered was wrong. I tried several wifi networks and had the same results.

Do you know why it would work on Nano and not on Xavier ? Or if the problem is completely unrelated ?

username: wlanpi
password: wlanpi

I normally run as root so I do not have to always elevate

I prefer to navigate to the webserver downloads folder so that I can easily pull the file from the device
